Build It and Home Improvement magazine’s first consumer show, Build It Live, has been hailed a success as the show made its debut at Glow, Bluewater, on February 23 and 24. Castle Media, publisher of Build It and Home Improvement magazine, also held Glow’s first business-to-business event, Build It Tool Show, in Glow’s lower hall at the in conjunction with Build It Live. Together, the two shows attracted over 6,000 visitors, exceeding Castle’s expectations.

Glow, the new breed of events and exhibition venue integrated with Bluewater, has revealed details of its first shows of 2013. The programme for 2013 builds upon Glow’s first year, with a return of two highly successful shows, as well as new additions that reflect Glow’s flexibility and diversity.

Glow, the new breed of events and exhibition venue integrated with Bluewater, celebrated its first birthday with an appearance by former F1 World Champion, Jenson Button. Button, who a week ago won the last race of the 2012 F1 season in a rain-soaked Brazil, held two audiences with over 1,500 members of the public in Glow’s lower hall on Saturday, December 1, as part of a promotion by Santander, corporate sponsor of the McLaren F1 team.
